To benefit subscribers right here, now, Globe's 4G product lineup

Globe Telecom launched a suite of multimedia devices and services that allow subscribers to enjoy its 4G mobile technology using the global standard HSPA+.

“Only a few weeks after announcing the commercial rollout of our 4G network, we are excited to announce our initial lineup of 4G offers. Today, we are introducing a very diverse product portfolio best enjoyed via Globe 4G, from devices, handsets to applications,” said Peter Bithos, Globe Senior Advisor for Consumer Business.

Globe introduced the revolutionary Tattoo Tonino Lamborghini, the fastest mobile broadband stick available in the market today which provides subscribers with internet speeds of up to 10 Mbps, or 5x than regular broadband dongles.

Under Tattoo’s newest postpaid plan, the Tattoo Tonino Lamborghini is available for only P2,199 monthly. Using the device, subscribers can enjoy surf-all-you-want, high speed mobile broadband access powered by the country’s first and biggest 4G network.

Globe is also the first operator to bring the first-ever 4G-enabled mobile phone to the country, the Samsung GALAXY S II. Samsung GALAXY S II is the perfect handset which enables users to take advantage of the HSPA+ technology and enjoy mobile internet of up to 6 Mbps. The powerful device dons a massive 4.3” SuperAMOLED capacitive touchscreen display delivering superior color, enhanced readability, contrast ratio and screen sharpness.

Completing the 4G portfolio is the Video Message Service (VMS), the newest and one of the most interactive media channels for mobile phone users best enjoyed under the 4G network and the Samsung Galaxy S II device.

Through VMS, users can create, view, upload, share, send and receive video content through their mobile phones. It also allows users to connect with their favorite celebrities by following their video blogs and music videos, watching their video clips, or being updated with the latest happenings and events through partnership with GMA New Media. As a special treat, VMS be will available for free to My SuperSurf Plan subscribers until July 31.

Bithos added, “Complementing the launch of our offers is the aggressive expansion of our 4G HSPA+ sites, which will benefit more subscribers in the coming months.” To date, commercial deployment of HSPA+ has doubled, with presence now available in Mandaluyong, Navotas, Caloocan and Valenzuela.
